Our Cheri Font done in the Reverse Applique technique is certainly a must have for your Embroidery and Craft projects. It's a simple and quick way to add a different look to just about anything. Reverse applique has been around for quite some time. It's an embroidery technique much like cutwork. Instead a decorative fabric is placed between the base fabric and the stabilizer. After the stitching of the outline the base fabric is cut away to reveal the decorative material underneath. This technique is similar to cutwork and the opposite of traditional applique.
This font will come in the 2", 3", 4" and 5 inch sizes. Due to the variations in height, a few of these letters will need to be stitched in the 4x4 or 5x7 hoop. For example the letters; H, G, Q, K, Y, M, R and S may require the larger hoop sizes. (Not to exceed the 5x7 hoop of course.) This set will also include a sheet of simple instructions for those whom have never tried reverse applique. Trust Me! You will love just how simple this is. Perfect for jeans and denim apparel.
